Megaupload is pretty slow at the moment - only 80 kb/s :-(

Anyway thanks for all your efforts guys. I'm really looking forward to playing the updated mod in an hour or whenever it's ready.

Do we have to deinstall anything? In the other thread it says "You must delete old version for this ver to work properly", but the filesize of the new version is a lot smaller than the 1.0 version (so it doesn't seem like the complete mod in the file).

Yes sorry forgot to say here to delete previous version, this build is wrapped up in 7zip, so it is smaller.

That is superb Smiley 456.732% better Smiley

I have only done 5 laps of barcelona with default set up but instantly the car felt better , no understeer , my brakes are a heck of alot better , still can be tricky to drive but this is so much better than v1.0.

5 laps and I have already gone .2 quicker that the previous version without playing with set up at all but the main thing is the car feels so much better to drive , my confidence in the feeling is so much more.

Awesome effort guys and thankyou for V1.1

One question however , has the public server been updated to 1.1 yet ?
I tried going on there after installing and got a .hdv and .rfm mismatch

Im hoping it just hasnt been updated as of yet

Very happy with this version indeed Smiley

I've only messed with the 1.1 version for 45 minutes or so, but yeah, the cars are definitely faster now.  I'm still trying to find the sweet spot with setups, mainly the brakes, and suspension stiffness.  Seems like the cars ride is more stiff now, but like I said, I'm still trying to see what the cars like, and dislike, with the changes.

Biggest change to me though, is that the AI seem hyper fast now.

All in all, I like the changes.  Keep up the good work guys.

Hello!

I'm new here but I follow the progress of your mods closely Wink
Your mod 1993 is really awesome (more than the 1.0), I have fun a lot but I have a problem (cleaning since in v 1.0) I have of the sub-bend with high speed and it about is the setup of my car. The various setups which I was able to make improve only the steering lock with low speed. Know you where from could it come or which setup it would be necessary to change specifically to have no more problem ?

Keep up the good work guys Wink

Ok 1 little thing I have found , I just tried to do a full race at Barcelona , which in 1993 was 64 laps but I can only put 60 laps worth of fuel in and you cant add fuel during the race.

Is there any fix for this or planned fix ?

and a really little thing is that Jean Marc Gounon is not in the Minardi drivers list , he drove in Japan and Australia for them in 93 , but thats just a little thing.

Other than that I am loving it Smiley

I haven't done any tests to see if there are any quirky things, but heading straight out to the track the car is massively better! Now it has the feeling of what seeing the real cars, live or video, and othar car driving/racing input experiences, suggest they would be like to race.
Great job Duke and others involved!

The mod feels a lot better now from the moment you leave the garage. Well done guys, this is easily one of the best rFactor mods.

Only one minor mistake is still there: Pedro Lamy should get the #11 Lotus, not #12. He replaced Zanardi (#11) from the Italian GP onwards.
